Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

Hello Fairmount Families!

As we begin our new school year, we are energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of all of our students. It is hard to believe we now have the Class of 2036 in our kindergarten!

Fairmount has a rich academic and arts tradition. Our continuing mission is to prepare all students for learning success every day in a caring and safe environment. We will accomplish this mission by setting high academic expectations for all children and providing supportive systems to ensure they are met.

We know that the most important difference for students' learning is their classroom teacher. At Fairmount, we have an amazingly talented and experienced staff! We strongly believe that our students are all of our students. As such, our teachers work together in Professional Learning Communities (PLC) where they analyze student growth and design learning plans and support structures to address the academic and social/emotional needs of all students in their grade level. Then teachers work together to provide our students extra time, support, remediation, and extensions during subject block times and during our WIN (What I Need) block.

At Fairmount, we value partnering with parents to meet our students’ educational and social/emotional needs. Every day we welcome and appreciate our parent volunteers in our school, and we encourage you to participate on Fairmount's Accountability Committee and PTA. Please visit the Fairmount PTA website to see how you can volunteer and be involved in various PTA activities.

Thank you for your commitment to Fairmount! Always feel free to contact your child’s teacher, Mrs. Kruse or Mrs. Mills anytime you have suggestions, questions, or concerns. You can contact us at (303) 982-5422, [email protected], [email protected], or by dropping by the office.
